Greenland Shopping ships all
pieces of artwork through well known shipping companies
worldwide.
More information about the handling procedures are under
construction.... For now, information wil be presented on request
according to the destination. If you are ordering a piece of art
you have seen in our On-line Gallery please quote the
identification number and the name of the piece for verification.
All pieces of Inuit Art are sold
on a first come first served basis.

Our
Prices
All prices are listed in Danish KR and US$.
If you are ordering from outside of Greenland, the money must be
transferred to
our bank, and Your creditcard compagny or bank will handle the
changing of currensy
to DKR. There are no tax on art in Greenland. Importtax in Your
country must be handled
by Your bank etc.
Making
a Payment
Payment must be made in advance and is usually done
through banktransfer to our acount in
Greenland Bank - 6471 200775-1.
Orders will only pass after your transfer have been cleared by
our bank.
Ordering Other Pieces
The pieces of art you will see in our On-line Gallery are only a
portion of the
total inventory available. Should you be interested in acquiring
a piece you
haven't seen on-line you may contact us by phone, fax or e-mail
with information
about what You are looking for.

Insuring your Inuit Art
Though carefull hands and cautious packaging is used in the
transportation of your artwork there is always a small chance of
your art getting damaged. To guard against such mishaps, your
investment is fully insured by the Shipping Company.
Any work of art that you purchase from Greenland Shopping is
original and handmade by Inuit.
About dokuments to verify the material and autensity, You will be
informed when You order.
Inuit Art and Customs
While Inuit Art is recognized worldwide as one of the world's
most beautiful art forms, it's important to note that shipping
certain materials into certain countries is illegal.For example,
shipping ivory into the United States is considered a crime.
If you are unsure about importing any product into your country
we encourage you to check with your country's customs officials
before placing an order.
In Denmark for instance, it is possible to import Ivory and
carving, but permission must be applied for. This permission can
be handled from here.
